Art Director
Demographica is a marketing agency that helps large B2B companies grow their revenue in Africa by transforming how they engage buyers, grow customers, and enable their marketing and sales teams. Purpose of the Role:
- The Art Director is responsible for conceptualizing and executing visual elements of creative campaigns, ensuring all work aligns with the agency’s creative vision and client objectives.
- They must push the boundaries of design while ensuring brand integrity and consistency across all executions.
- The role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to inspire and mentor junior designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-quality visual concepts across all campaigns, ensuring they are both aesthetically compelling and strategically effective.
- Ensure creative work adheres to brand guidelines and client expectations while also pushing for innovative design approaches.
- Work closely with Copywriters to develop compelling visual narratives that enhance storytelling and brand engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design tools, and innovations in advertising and branding to keep creative output fresh and relevant.
- Provide direction and mentorship to junior designers, fostering skill development and creative growth within the team.
Present creative work to internal teams and clients, articulating the rationale behind design choices and ensuring buy-in.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.

Over 5 years of experience in art direction, graphic design, or a creative role within an agency, media company, or in-house team.

A strong portfolio showcasing creative concepts, campaign work, and design execution across various media.
