Finance Manager CA (SA)

Main purpose of the role will be to manage the day-to-day running of the Accounts/Finance Department.
The day-to-day includes but is not limited to:
- Revenue forecasting and revenue recognition
- Client profitability and margin reports
- Monthly management accounts
- Ensure all journals are posted and balance sheet reconciliations reviewed
- Provide monthly comprehensive analysis and feedback on individual company, as well as the group’s financial performance
- Cashflow management
- Support on pitches
- Business Intelligence reports
- Support the internal team with the operating system
- BEE compliance support
- Legal compliance support
- Review of annual financial statements of the group of companies
- Prepare, review, and ensure timely and accurate submissions of companies tax returns and payments (income tax, VAT, and EMPs)
- Prepare, review, and monitor budgets for the various companies
- Co-ordinate the group audits and compilation of the audit files
- Ensure that financial records are in line and updated with full IFRS requirements
- Ad-hoc projects
- Report to the Financial Director
Minimum requirements:
- Qualified CA
- 2 – 5 years post article experience – Big 4 experience essential
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Marketing and advertising experience favourable
