South African Tourism flies high with a double B2B win at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa

The South African Tourism (SAT) team is excited to announce that it has received top honours at this year’s International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) awards held in Cape Town.

The much anticipated and prestigious annual event strives to honour and promote exceptional and innovative content created across all continents and seen and used on various platforms globally.

South African Tourism, in partnership with their B2B agency, Demographica, won both a Gold and Silver Award respectively in the ‘Tourism Products – MICE’ category for their ‘Open Doors‘ and ‘Khanyisa – Let Your Story Shine’ entries.  As many as 378 entries were received from 59 countries around the world and adjudicated by an international panel of judges.

‘Open Doors’ was a rallying AV piece created in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to call the world to elect South Africa as their destination of choice for hosting their meetings, incentives, conferences, and events. ‘Khanyisa – Let Your Story Shine’ was centred around embracing and encouraging the telling of stories celebrating the splendour the destination has to offer in light of a depleted tourism sector.

The South African Tourism team would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to ITFFA for the recognition of these two entries, and to all those who contributed to making their vision a reality, particularly their B2B partner agency, Demographica.

“We are delighted to have been recognised by the ITFFA judges. As B2B partners to our client, South African Tourism, it is a privilege to deliver work that profiles our beautiful country,” said Warren Moss, CEO of Demographica.
