DStv for Business

The difference is DStv for Business
- What difference can a screen really make to a business?

CHALLENGE
DStv for Business was seen as a TV subscription and little else. The brief was to reposition it as a business partner that helps create better customer and employee experiences, and to lift awareness of what its solutions actually do across very different environments.
The job was to shift perception from “just TV” to a tool that improves atmosphere, engagement and customer satisfaction, and to drive consideration across three distinct segments.
The brief was to open genuine conversations and reposition the firm as a strategic business partner, not just another audit and advisory firm.
AUDIENCE
The campaign was built around three business environments, each with its own realities and emotional drivers:
- Bars, restaurants and entertainment venues.
- Hotels and hospitality spaces.
- Offices and workplace environments.

OUR THINKING
We led with experience, not product. Rather than opening with packages, pricing or technical features, the campaign showed the tangible difference DStv makes inside real business environments.
And rather than one message for everyone, each segment got its own creative, tone and story, so DStv for Business could speak directly to what each audience actually cares about.
- Experience over product. We showed the difference DStv makes in the room, not on the spec sheet.
- A story per segment. Play, Stay and Work each had tailored creative, messaging and assets.
- Emotion over features. The work spoke to atmosphere, engagement and satisfaction, the real reasons businesses invest.

THE IDEA: THE DIFFERENCE IS DSTV FOR BUSINESS
At the heart of the work sat one confident idea: the difference is DStv for Business. It moved the brand from a line item on the bill to a difference customers and staff can feel.
A fuller bar on match day. A hotel lounge that feels alive. An office with better energy. Same brand, three very different rooms, one clear point of difference.
